ABOUT THE WEBSITE:

Home page: Graphic created by Rev. Terry Weller, Interfaith Minister. It is a composite of a NASA photo of the earth; and a NASA photo taken by the Hubble Space Telescope of a Helix Nebula and it is the closest example of a planetary nebula created at the end of the life of a Sun-like star. Symbolically it appears that the dying sun is an 'eye' of the universe looking towards our home. Science indicates that the basics of life travels through the universe as a result of the explosions of dying suns; this thought too lends a sense of oneness to the overall symbolism, as well as affirming the continuity of life.
