Dear all,
Tonight(4th November
2008) hope
triumphed over fear,
common good over
individualism, service
and
sacrifice over
selfishness and greed.
Tonight the wall of
hatred,
hopelessness and despair
that separates us from
the common
good fell and bridges of
love, compassion,
cooperation, justice
and peace were built.
This morning (5th
November), as the
sun rises, a new light
of hope is shining upon
us all. The era of
neo-liberalism, disaster
capitalism,
adventurism, uncalled
militarism,
torture and pseudo-nationalism
is over. It
is the dawn of
Globalisation for the
Common Good. Today is a
watershed in the US and
world history.
Thank you President
Obama for who
you are and what you do.
Thank you to the
American people for
electing President Obama
to lead the way to a
better world.
I
am most delighted and
grateful
that in the last few
months, Globalisation
for the Common Good has
been featured time and
again on the pages of
barackobama.com
web site. Please see the
links below for a
sample. I very
much thank the
researchers and the web
master for this.

Finally, I want to
invite you to
join us, so that we can
continue this momentous
journey together.
The 8th Annual
International
Globalisation for the
Common Good
Conference will take
place at Loyola
University, Chicago-
President Obama's Home
State- in May/June 2009.
The main theme of
the conference is
"Globalisation: The
Challenge to
America", a very
apt theme at this time
of momentous
change and hope(
http://www.gcgchicago2009.info/
).
As
President Obama has
reminded us
on many occasions, how
well we succeed in
changing our world for
the better, so that we
can build a world that
is just, free and
prosperous for all, will
depend on our collective
capacities to
mobilise interest and
muster enthusiasm around
our common vision
and our collective
action. This call to
action should be heard
loud and clear. So
please share our message
with all of your
colleagues and
friends: Chicago
2009 will be the
place where we
will come
together with a
positive global
focus,
inviting all to
march with us
along the path
of justice,
peace and
the common good
for all, to heal
our broken
world.
And you know what:
YES WE CAN,
YES WE CAN!.
With all my love,
Go
well,
Kamran
